What is a Giclee print?

 

Giclee print reproductions are top quality prints created from digitalized images. All of Elizabeth's prints will be made on the finest archival paper and canvas. Superior pigmented ink on a 12 color printer gives a remarkably accurately detailed image that is both water and fade resistant. Compared to most prints made using only 4 or 8 color printers with fugitive, dye-based inks, Giclee prints display higher permanence. Giclee prints clearly have archival superiority, which is rated at least 100 years with normal lighting conditions.
